Doors of Hope
We come to those in prison — and we stay with them after the gate opens.
Doors of Hope is a ministry of presence, rooted in Jesus’ words: “I was in prison and you came to me” (Matthew 25:36). We believe no one is only their worst day. Behind every locked door is a person God still sees, and a future that can still be rebuilt.
We visit. We listen. We share the Gospel. We stand with families carrying the weight of absence. And when release comes, we do not disappear. Through discipleship, practical care, and accompaniment, we help people take honest next steps toward dignity, responsibility, and a different life.

Our 3 Core Programs in Prison
Presence & Evangelism
We go inside. Regular visits, worship, prayer, and the Word of God meet inmates where they are. The first work is simple and costly: show up, listen well, and make Christ known. Hope begins when someone is no longer forgotten.
Discipleship & Formation
Coming to faith is the beginning, not the end. We walk with inmates through Bible study, mentoring, and character formation so the Gospel takes root. The aim is a changed heart that can carry a changed life — inside the walls and after them.
Family & Reentry Support
Rebuilding Futures Prison does not only hold the person sentenced; it holds their family too. We stand with spouses, children, and caregivers during the sentence, and we walk with men and women as they prepare for release and the first hard months after the gate. Dignity, responsibility, and a different future need accompaniment — not a one-day visit.
